Whether it’s raining outside or you simply need somewhere for the children to burn off some energy, these are the soft plays and play cafés our family loves visiting. From babies to teenagers, we’ve found somewhere for everyone.

☕ Moss and Maple Play Café
📍 45 High Street, Gorseinon, Swansea, SA4 4BT Moss and Maple Play Cafe
Moss and Maple is one of our favourite places to visit during term time when the older children are in school. It’s peaceful, beautifully designed and perfect for spending quality one-to-one time with Aria while she explores the imaginative role-play areas.
Why we love it: It’s the perfect little escape for toddlers during the school day.
🛝 Playzone Swansea
📍 Unit 4, Imperial Centre, Lion Way, Llansamlet, Swansea, SA7 9FY Playzone
Playzone has been a favourite of ours for years. While it’s brilliant for younger children, one thing we really love is that it even keeps our teenagers entertained, making it a great option when all the children are together.
Why we love it: One of the few places that genuinely caters for such a wide age range.
🤸 Brodie’s Funhouse
📍 Unit 2, Heol-Y-Gors, Cwmbwrla, Swansea, SA5 8LD Brodie’s Funhouse Indoor Play Centre
Brodie’s is a fantastic family-run soft play, and they always put on brilliant events during the school holidays. Whether it’s themed sessions or half-term activities, there’s usually something extra happening to make every visit a little different.
Why we love it: Their half-term events keep us coming back.
💦 LC Swansea
📍 Oystermouth Road, Maritime Quarter, Swansea, SA1 3ST LC
The LC isn’t just somewhere we go swimming—the soft play is brilliant too. One of our favourite features is the sensory area, which is such a lovely space for younger children to explore.
Why we love it: Swimming, soft play and a fantastic sensory area all under one roof.
🎉 Sgiliau Llanelli
📍 Dafen Industrial Estate, Dafen, Llanelli, SA14 8QW Sgiliau Llanelli
Sgiliau offers something a little different to many other soft plays. Alongside the play equipment, there are trampolines and a great variety of activities, so every visit feels exciting and there’s always something new for the children to enjoy.
Why we love it: The extra activities make it stand out from other indoor play centres.
🧸 Tiny Tots Town, Llanelli
📍 The Gospel Hall, Amanwy, Llwynhendy, Llanelli, SA14 9AH Tiny Tots Town
