One of the biggest challenges when booking family holidays is finding accommodation that comfortably sleeps everyone. As a family of seven, this often limits our options or means booking multiple rooms.
The TUI Suneo Tamaimo Tropical was one of the few hotels that offered a room large enough for all of us. Our accommodation included two bedrooms and a double sofa bed in the living area.
Although the sofa bed being set up meant we didn’t really have a separate seating area indoors, it wasn’t an issue for us. The weather was warm enough that we spent most evenings sitting out on our balcony overlooking the pool.
The hotel grounds were one of our favourite parts of the stay. The pool area had a great atmosphere throughout the day, and Aria loved the smaller children’s pool where she could safely splash and play.
One hidden gem was the shaded garden area. Filled with seating and surrounded by greenery, it provided a peaceful escape from the sunshine and was the perfect place to sit and relax for a while.
The food was good and, although it became a little repetitive by the end of the week, we always found something to eat. With five children, including several fussy eaters, that’s not something we can say about every all-inclusive hotel we’ve stayed in.
The pool bar was a particular highlight. Throughout the day there were hot dogs, burgers, sandwiches, nachos, chips, fruit and cakes available, making it easy to grab food between meals without needing to head back to the restaurant.
There was always something happening around the pool too, from darts and mini golf to water polo and organised activities. The kids club was excellent and helped keep the older children entertained throughout the holiday.
For £2,400, including flights, luggage, transfers and all-inclusive accommodation for seven people for a week, we genuinely felt this holiday was fantastic value for money.
Would we stay again? Absolutely.
